After we went through security-with flying colors!-we ate at Earl of Sandwich and boarded onto our plane. This was after we saw many people sleeping in the airport. How? We don't know. Too much commotion going on. We board the plane around 10 pm, about 20 minutes before take off. After getting settled and the plane took off, we started to watch films. Crystal watched about 3 films, at least 2 of them were Sherlock Holmes. I attempted to watch The Exotic Marygold Hotel, but started to fall asleep. Crystal wanted to put her seat back, but the girl in back of her didn't find that too pleasing. Later on, the guy in front of her slammed his seat back so suddenly, that we were both shocked at how the items on her table didn't fall off!
After getting off of the plane and walking a long ways just to find our connecting flight, we sat at terminal B27, like our ticket said. Not many people were around, and it was only 30 minutes until take off. Hm. Where are the rest of the people? Crystal went off for a short walk and came back about 5 minutes later. "We are at the wrong terminal. They must have changed it and announced it in German." Well, we found out that they had changed it to B24, and the flight was going to be delayed by about 20 minutes. That was only the start of our problems...
We finally board the plane and find our seats: 16A and 16B. Crystal got the middle seat while I got the window seat. The seats were not as comfortable and they were more crammed with less to do. No movies on the seat in front of you. Not much room at all to tilt your seat back. And the flight attendants only came by once with drinks. Crystal sat down and whipped her head in my direction, looking like she had smelled something rotten. She quickly got her memo pad out, and wrote down "He smells of B.O! He reeks like a B.O. furnace! LET'S GO LUFTHANSA!"
The plane ride was delayed even when we landed! Poor Crystal had to sit next to this guy even longer now. We sat, and sat, and sat. Then finally they let us of the BACK of the plane! Now we walked off the plane, and had to walk on the tarmac into the building. Oh how we were so tired...
